Recently Beacon Point hosted their annual Chick-fil-A night at Sojourner Center, providing dinner for families in our programs. Volunteers spent the evening sharing a meal with survivors and leading Valentine’s Day crafts for children and adults.

The crafts gave families an opportunity to spend time together, be creative, and enjoy a relaxed evening outside of their daily routines. Volunteers helped set up, painted alongside participants, and created a welcoming space for conversation and connection.

Community-hosted events like this play an important role in supporting families during their time at Sojourner Center. If you or your organization are interested in hosting a meal, activity, or special event for our participants, we welcome your involvement! These experiences help create moments of normalcy and connection for families as they work toward stability and independence.
