Sojourner Center’s Community Outreach Program is a mobile-based service for those impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking who may still be residing with their abuser or are not in need of shelter or housing. We understand that leaving an abusive situation is not always easy or immediate. Our team provides trauma-informed case management and community resources to help survivors navigate their unique circumstances.
Our skilled case managers work closely with each survivor to access their unique needs, develop personalized plans and provide ongoing support and advocacy.
Our staff works closely with survivors to identify potential risks and create a comprehensive safety plan tailored to their needs and circumstances.
Our groups are designed to empower survivors with the skills and knowledge needed for self-sufficiency including, but not limited to, workforce development, empowerment and financial literacy.
We provide connections to vital community resources including housing assistance, medical care and financial assistance.
Our Lay Legal Advocates provide survivors guidance in navigating the legal system including Order of Protection support and court assistance.
In addition to our 24-hour helpline, survivors can reach our Community Outreach team directly, by calling (602)568-8355 during business hours.
