Sexual Assault Awareness Month is an opportunity for us to come together as a community to support survivors, raise awareness about sexual violence and work towards preventing it. At Sojourner Center, we are committed to doing our part to make a difference and we are excited to share about our efforts in the community this month.

2K SAAM Walk

We are supporting the annual 2K Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) Walk on April 15th. This walk raises awareness about sexual violence and shows support for survivors. By participating in this walk, we are sending a message that we will not tolerate sexual violence in our communities.

Take Back the Night

We are also participating in Take Back the Night, an event designed to educate, empower and honor survivors and allies in Arizona. This event will take place on April 21st and is an opportunity for to unite and show our support for survivors. Take Back the Night helps to #ShatterTheSilence as it provides a safe space for survivors to share their stories.

Join us this Sexual Assault Awareness Month by participating in events, showing your support for survivors and educating yourself and others. Together we can #ShatterTheSilence.
