We are so proud to be able to help survivors rebuild their lives after violence and it is because of your generosity that we can do so.

Meet Kristine. After a troubled childhood, Kristine was eager to start her own family with the man she loved. Just two days into their honeymoon, her dream began to shatter. Her husband’s verbal abuse escalated into physical. When they returned home, the violence continued and Kristine knew she needed to get help.

With only the items in her suitcase, Kristine felt scared and alone. After many attempts, she was unable to get into a shelter. Upon calling Sojourner Center, she was immediately accepted and connected to medical care for her injuries. With support from our services, she was empowered to find her autonomy and self-sufficiency. In her newfound confidence and freedom, she opened a designer consignment shop and gives a portion of the proceeds to a nonprofit.

Thank you joining us as we support survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence and human trafficking through your year-end donation. Make your tax credit gift today.
