April marks Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), a time dedicated to raising awareness, supporting survivors, and advocating for prevention. Throughout the month, we come together to amplify survivor voices, challenge harmful myths, and take action toward a future free from sexual violence.

This year’s theme, “Together We Act, United We Change,” highlights the power of collective action. Ending sexual violence isn’t just an individual effort—it requires communities, organizations, and advocates working together to educate, prevent, and support. Whether through raising awareness, advocating for survivor-centered policies, or fostering conversations about consent and respect, we all have a role to play in creating a safer, more supportive community.

At Sojourner Center, we stand with survivors every day, providing critical services like crisis intervention, advocacy, and trauma-informed care. This April, we invite you to join us in showing support—wear teal, start conversations, and take action.

Don’t forget to tag @sojournercenter in your teal outfits throughout this month!
