The Sundt Foundation raised $240,000 during its Phoenix Charity Golf Tournament on March 20th to benefit Sojourner Center. Funds from the tournament will support our nonprofit organization to provide shelter, housing and critical services for survivors and their families. In addition to safe housing, services include child development, lay legal advocacy, case management and pet companion care, ensuring survivors and their families have access to what they need to rebuild their lives free from abuse.
“We’re incredibly grateful to the Sundt Foundation and its partners for bringing the community together to support Sojourner Center. This generosity helps ensure survivors, their children, and their pets have access to safety, stability, and the space they need to begin healing from abuse,” said Julie Peterson, Co-Executive Director of Sojourner Center. “Support like this reminds survivors that they are not alone and that a caring community stands beside them.”
Sojourner Center has partnered with Sundt Construction for more than 20 years. During that time, Sundt Foundation has awarded the organization $95,500 through 27 grants along with hours of hands-on support through volunteer support. The Sundt Foundation supports nonprofits in the communities where Sundt Construction operates through fundraising events and quarterly grants. Since 1999, the Foundation has awarded more than $20 million to organizations making a lasting difference. We are deeply thankful for our long-standing partnership with Sundt Construction and excited to continue creating an impact together.
