We are thrilled to introduce Angela as the new Director of Programs at Sojourner Center. Angela previously served Sojourner Center as our Emergency Shelter Manager for two years. Angela will bring a wealth of experience and a deeply motivated spirit to her new role.
Angela’s motivation for serving Sojourner Center stems from a commitment to seeing individuals move on and grow. “Witnessing the journey of survivors from their lowest points to finding confidence and building trust is a significant reward for me.”
In her role as Director of Programs, Angela is excited to step outside her comfort zone and grow professionally, which she believes will ultimately allow her to best support and challenge her team. She is passionate about the impact of Sojourner Center’s six programs and is eager to see each one thrive under her leadership.
Angela believes that the work at Sojourner Center creates a ripple effect. “Our mission is changing one life at a time, but in reality, it is not just that one life. We are impacting so many lives within that one person. Their newfound confidence and trust radiate outward, touching the lives of their loved ones, their communities, and ultimately creating a stronger, more supportive network for all,” she explains.
