Sojourner Center aims to make the mothers in our programs feel loved and appreciated on Mother’s Day. This year, the generous support of Desert Financial is making this happen.
When we identified a need to make this day special for the resilient mothers we serve, we asked the community for help, and Desert Financial generously answered our call! Their volunteers are assembling and donating 60 gift bags, each filled with treats and self-care items to remind our moms that they are seen, celebrated, and deeply appreciated.
For many of the mothers at Sojourner Center, this will be their first Mother’s Day spent in a safe and supportive environment. To receive something thoughtful, just for them, can be a powerful reminder of their strength and worth.
This Mother’s Day, we’re not just celebrating the incredible moms in our care—we’re also celebrating the community members who uplift them.
