Joy is a human trafficking survivor who received services from Sojourner Center.
While living in another state, Joy was forced to flee her safe house on two different occasions due to her traffickers finding her location. Joy is on the autism spectrum and credits her service dog for saving her life multiple times. While in Arizona, she was struggling to find safe housing that would allow her dog to stay with her.

Our Human Trafficking Case Manager worked with Joy and taught her how to advocate for herself. As a team, they were able to find Joy a safe place where she, along with her beloved service dog, could begin her healing journey.

Consider a life-changing gift to Sojourner Center to help human trafficking survivors like Joy live the life they deserve.
