Know the Signs

There are red flags that help you identify human trafficking in our community such as individuals showing signs of physical injuries and abuse, avoiding eye contact or social interaction and working excessively long hours. If you think you have encountered a potential trafficking situation, contact the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888.

Spread the Word

Throughout the month of January, Sojourner Center will be spreading awareness about Human Trafficking on social media. We encourage you to utilize us as a resource to spread the word to your friends and family. And, help us bring awareness to this issue by liking and sharing our posts.

Think Before You Shop

Who made your clothes? Who prepared your food? Human traffickers exploit workers by using violence and other forms of coercion to force people to work against their will. Take time to research your favorite restaurants and clothing stores and shop responsibly.

Get Involved

Contact these anti-trafficking organizations to learn how you can support them in their efforts to stop human trafficking.
